Post-Medieval clay pipe
A pipe broken at the point of the junction of the stem and bowl but probably Broseley type 5a (dated by Oswald c. 1680-1720) and stamped with a star or rosette. Oswald notes that rosettes are used by Broseley makers of the period 1650-80 but does not appear to illustrate any examples.
