Seal impression: Yarmouth
A clinker built man-of-war on waves, one- masted with a pennant flying from the mast-head. In the bow (fore-castle) a flag: a plain cross of St George; in stern-castle a flag: three lions passant guardant each dimidiated by a demi-herring, YARMOUTH. The main-sail is set and charged: quarterly, 1. and 4. Three fleurs-de-lis, two and one, FRANCE (Modern); 2. and 3. Three lions passant guardant in pale, ENGLAND. The anchor hangs over the bow. Field replenished with foliage, ears of wheat, and a six-foil flower. Borders cabled. The words of the legend are mostly separated by a six-foil
