Neolithic flint polished axehead

Axe made of brown coloured flint. Near complete with only a few reent chips. The butt is only slighlty convex. Both sides are convex and divergent to the blade. The sides have been ground to form factes of regular width (6mm) giving the axe a four-sided section. The blade edge is assymetric and has a gently curve. The faces are conves across both their widths and lengths and the axe reaches maximum thickness at its midpoint. Polishing striations running alon ghte blade edge may indicate secondary sharpeneing.
