Teapot and cover
Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, pear shaped body with bulbous panels to the upper body, sloping inwards at the shoulder, vertical lip-rim sloping inwards, short curving spout with reeding around the upper spout , double curved scroll handle with a ridge of raised moulding to the upper handle, domed cover with shaped rim and pine cone finial, a pierced steam hole to one side of the cover; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the body long festoons of small flowers looping down from a gilt band around the shoulder, further sprigs of flowers to the upper and lower body, a gilt band to the foot-rim, a gilt dentil band to the neck, gilt edging to the spout, gilt markings to the handle, to the cover festoons of small flowers looping down from a gilt band around the top of the cover, scattered leaves to the top of the cover, a gilt dentil edge to the rim of the cover, the finial outlined in gilt.
