Plate, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy translucency; standing on a tapered foot rim curving into slightly rounded spreading sides with a lobed edge moulded with c-scrolls, and ribbon-tied flowers and foliage; centre painted in polychrome enamels with an arrangement of naturalistically rendered garden flowers, in pink and puce, with a butterfly; dark blue ground border with alternate gilt stylised flower heads and sprigs; plain gilt band to lip and around cavetto.
