Banner with the coat of arms of John Griffith Wynn Griffith, High Sheriff of Caernarvonshire.
Double-sided banner painted onto two layers of blue silk. Red and yellow silk fringe on side and lower edges. Fringe is butt-joined against the edges of the blue silk. Fringe consists of 4.2cm wide sections of red alternating with yellow. Blue silk ribbons (width: 3.7cm) are stitched to three points along top edge. Top edges folded inwards with small turnback and joined together with overcast stitches using yellow silk thread. Painted in gold, silver, red, green and black paint.
