Doll's house
The dolls house was a gift from my parents in my childhood in the year 1880. The house was made by a local carpenter in Swansea, by a man named Newcome and it was furnished by an Aunt. In those days a dolls house was a coveted possession by a little girl and I being an only child was fortunate to possess this one. The name 'Ffynonau' which is given to the house was the name of the Terrace in Swansea where I lived with my parents hence the name given to the dolls house. [Letter from the donor, 15 November 1940]
