Rose bowl
Shallow, spreading bowl, hand-raised, with pronounced planishing marks on the interior, shallow seamed foot with a moulded rim, in-turning lip similarly moulded. Applied with four groups of floriate scrolls and with cabled silber wire at the lip, the junction of the bowl and foot, and the foot rim. Flat cover elaborately pierced with scrolls and geometric shapes. The bowl won the first prize for art metalwork in the National Eisteddfod of 1925.
