Patchwork quilt
Patchwork quilt made in about 1858 in Llanybydder. Unknown maker.
Centre is a rectangular print with exotic flowers on a white ground. Around this is a flowering tree design on a beige ground. Thee whole quilt is bordered by a frill in gold or light brown colour. Quilting pattern consists of a large star-type motif in centre with four semi-circular motifs in corner of central area. Spirals in diamonds in border.
