Neolithic flint sickle
A Neolithic sickle fragment made on greyish black flint. The piece has an older developing patina over one face and has been reworked through this suggestive of damage and subsequent reuse. one end of the sickle is missing. The tool is extensively flaked over both faces, the original bulbar face being mch flatter than the dorsal face, which has a curved form to it.
