Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Plate, earthenware, standing on an incised foot rim, spreading sides; the rim moulded in eight lobes of equal size; transfer printed in the centre in purple with the 'Pheasant' pattern, consisting of two pheasants sitting facing one another in a chinoiserie style tree; the rim printed in green with a running pattern of floral bouquets joined by a chain of small stylised flower heads, beneath an egg and dart border to the outer rim.
