Evans & Glasson, Cambrian Pottery (1851 - 1862)
Small plate, footring, rim moulded with tulips and roses, transfer-printed in black with a view of MOUNT EDGCUMBE, showing a prospect over a bay, with a soldier by a cannon, other figures, dog etc in the foreground, a stretch of water with ships in the middle ground, and a peninsula or island beyond wooded with a country house. Black string bands around inner and outer side of rim. Chipped rim.
