Post-Medieval silver finger ring
Fragment of fede ring. The hoop appears to have been of flattened D-shaped cross-section. The outer surface of the hoop is cast with clasped hands around a heart. The flat inner face is engraved in Roman capitals with the letters T I [. (possibly M, N or R; the rest of the inscription is missing).
