Pair of socks
Pair of machine knitted socks. Manufactured by penwisg for Spirit of '58.
Red socks with green toe and heel, and red and green stripes surrounding upper edge. Lettering 'penwisg' in yellow above upper toe, and 'SO58' vertically down the back, above the heel. The knitted construction is made of coloured as well as white yarns. In most areas only the coloured yarns show on the face of the fabric, but on the upper foot section the knitted pattern changes to show a fine pattern of alternating red and white stitches.
