Baby grow

White cotton jersey baby grow fastened with poppers down the front. Transfer detail ‘Born to be Muslim’ on left chest.

5 poppers down centre front and 3 on each leg; on outside, poppers are painted white. All-in one outfit made from 8 main panels: two on the front, one for each arm, one at the back plus a small gusset and one for each foot. 3 narrow folded sections (width: 1.5cm) stitched on as cuffs and collar. Centre front opening / popper fastening is reinforced with folded strips (width: 1.5cm) of ribbed white cotton jersey fabric which is stitched to line the inside edges of the opening. All seams are stitched with overlocking stitches using white thread. Between the two lowest poppers on the leg openings, the upper layer of the fabric bulges due to excess fabric (poppers on upper fabric are further apart than those on the lower, proper right edge: i.e. 7cm versus 5cm). A metallic-light purple card label (3.9 x 7.8cm) has been attached to the proper left front collar with a clear plastic tag (c. 4.5cm long). 'Habeebati' is printed in black on the front, and further company information is printed on a clear plastic adhesive label which is adhered to the reverse. The price of £4 is hand-written in pencil (also on the reverse).
