Animal figure
Figure of a lion, cream-coloured earthenware, standing on a rectangular plinth, the lion has its right front paw resting on a sphere, its head, with flowing mane and open mouth, is turned to the right and its tail curves down and rests on the plinth; covered all over with a splashed pink lustre to create a mottled effect. The lion's tail may be a plaster reconstruction.
