North Wales Quarrying Museum Dinorwic / Amgueddfa Chwareli Gogledd Cymru
Title - North Wales Quarrying Museum Dinorwic Amgueddfa Chwareli Gogledd Cymru. An information sheet / guide for visitors about the North Wales Quarrying Museum. The information sheet/guide is bilingual. The information sheet/guide was owned by Mr Owen William Humphreys, who worked as a steward at Dinorwig Quarry between 1946 and 1969. Following the quarry closure in 1969, the Gilfach Ddu workshops were saved, and became the ‘North Wales Quarrying Museum’ (now known as the National Slate Museum). Mr Owen William Humphreys worked at the museum for some time, and probably picked up the information sheet/guide during his time as an employee of the museum.
