Dungarees
Women's Land Army dungarees, 1945. Brown cotton drill bib and brace dungarees (unworn). Darts in front to give some waist shaping. Straight legs, machine sewn hem and double stitched side seams. Two patch pockets at front (hip level). Central double stitched seam from crotch to top of bib. Slit at either side of waist, each fastened by single button. Shoulder straps crossed over (and stitched in place) at back. Fastening with buttons at either side of bib (inside). Each strap has foru button holes. WLA label on left hand side back at hip.
