Pot-lid
Pot-lid, earthenware, circular shape with cylindrical flange and convex top; the upperside of the lid decorated with an underglaze polychrome transfer-print of 'Philadelphia Exhibition 1876', showing a large exhibition building with in the foreground figures walking and riding around a curving driveway, the scene enclosed by a narrow circular border, below the border is the inscription "PHILADELPHIA EXHIBITION 1876" in small lettering. The glaze very crazed.
