Pot-lid
Pot-lid, earthenware, circular shape with cylindrical flange and slightly domed upperside with flat top; the upperside of the lid decorated with an underglaze polychrome transfer-print of 'Revenge', showing an interior scene with the figure of a young boy seated at a table surrounded by lobster shells and holding a further lobster in his hand, around the bottom of the scene is printed the inscription "REVENGE", the print extends to the edges of the lid with no border enclosing it. The glaze crazed.
