Teapot and cover
Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, globular body tapering inwards towards the base, raised lip-rim, curving spout modelled with an animal head at the lip, scroll double loop handle, round flat cover with a pinecone finial to the centre; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the teapot a scene showing a bird perched on a branch, insects to either side of the scene and floral swags above, further floral swags around the cover, gilt bands around the lip-rim and the rim of the cover, the spout and handle picked out in gilt.
