Goblet
Goblet, earthenware, standing on a round spreading foot and short stem, bell-shaped bowl with a band of horizontal ribbing around the middle; covered all over with copper lustre, which has worn off in places to reveal the dark brown glaze beneath, apart from a broad band left white around the exterior upper body of the bowl, this band transfer-printed in black with a stylized oriental design of alternating lobed panels, one plain and one with a spiral-patterned ground, which contain flower heads, foliage and scrolls, this design in-filled with yellow, red, blue and green enamels.
