Roman samian bowl
The ovolo has a trifid tipped tongue and a somewhat blurred wavy line border beneath. Part of a large grass tuft survives in the main decoration, formed of three triple leaf motifs grouped together. The individual motif is illustrated by Knorr and was used by several Flavian potters.
