Pardoe, Thomas (1770-1823)
Side plate, greyish-blue hard-paste porcelain with a slight brownish translucency, standing on a shallow foot rim, six lobed and notched rim; decorated with an underglaze blue ground reserved with two red peonies and a red and yellow flower amid realistically painted foliage, edged with gold, and with large gilt sprays of leaves, narrow gilt border at the rim.
