Bowl, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a thick flared foot ring, with curved sides; decorated on the outside with a dark pink enamelled ground and a Chinese-style pattern with overglaze black printed outlines filled in with pale and dark green, blue, yellow and white enamels, the pattern comprising 3 lobed panels reserved in white in the pink ground containing Chinese antiquities and symbols, against the pink ground scrolling flowers and foliage, below the rim a band of square scrolls alternating with flower and leaf scrolls, a further group of printed and enamelled antiquities in the bottom of the bowl, a broad gilded band outside below the rim, gilded lines round the edge of the rim and the foot.
