Early Mesolithic flint meche de foret
A pale grey unpatinated flint méche de foret. The form is irregular as it has been made on a core rejuvenation flake. There is just one modified edge, the right hand edge, but the tool has a clear tip whcih shows evidence for use due to abraision on the end. The bulb of percussion survives.
