Roman copper alloy bracelet
Fragment of a bracelet with evenly spaced alternating facetted notch decoration giving an even wavy line effect. At one end the metal tapers and is bent back as if to form a hook. While the tapering is original the hook effect is accidental since a hook and eye or two-hook fastening would be difficult to accomplish with this type of bracelet and a lapped fastening with tapered terminals is more likely.
