Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, tea bowl standing on a shallow foot rim, flared sides tapering in at base; decorated in monocrome deep brown, on one side with a seascape, a man sitting near a rock looking out to sea and ships, door built into rock to right, rocks and bushes to left, sprig opposite, gilt border to foot rim and lip. Saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading sides, decorated in monochrome with a seascape, a figure standing on a rock to the left looking out to see, holding a stick, large rock with buildings to right, birds in sky, gilt border to lip.
