Roman pottery flanged bowl
Described in the archive as: Flanged bowl in Black Burnished Ware. The outer surface is worn but the decoration appears to be in the form of a fairly open lattice or even inverted chevrons. A mid-late 2nd Century date would seem appropriate. Of Gillam 1976. no. 38.
