Teapot and cover
Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a spreading foot, ovoid body, concave neck with rounded lip-rim, curving spout with the lip modelled in the form of an animal head, scrolled high loop handle, round flat cover with a bud-shaped finial to the centre and a pierced steam hole to one side; painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the exterior body of the teapot a landscape with church-like buildings and small figures, two smaller landscapes to the top of the cover, gilt bands around the foot-rim, lower body, shoulder and lip-rim of the teapot and around the rim of the cover, the spout and handle painted in gilt, the finial picked out in gilt.
