Tankard, silver gilt, spreading skirt engraved with a presentation inscription, the slightly tapering body a double skin, the outer embossed and chased with vignettes of bibulous putti reclining in a vineyard, drinking from a wine cistern, sporting with goats, and fourthly feasting and drinking surrounded by produce, on a matted ground; the stepped cover with a similar cast roundel of putti; simple hollow S-scroll handle with openwork thumbpiece.
