Early Bronze Age pottery beaker
Beaker of thick, coarse gritty ware with smoothed buff surface, of long necked type. Decoration (all incised); a reserved bar-chevron with ground of oblique lines, enclosed above and below by a series of deep grooves, on neck, with apparently a double chevron of similar type around body, which is fragmentary.

Notes: found in a stone cist by a gateway close to the farm buildings of LITTLE PALE on 27.2.24 by the donor. The farmhouse is 2 3/4 miles WSW of above in Cyffig parish.
