Rukavishnikova, Varvara Feodorovna

Plate, hard-paste porcelain, circular, footring; the central reserve is bordered with a black line and painted with maroon flames, the edge is painted black with black shapes extending on to the rim, the rim is inscribed with Russian which translated means 'Long Live the World Revolution'.

‘Long Live the World Revolution’ reads the Russian slogan in colourful stylised Cyrillic letters. Dramatic purple flames in the centre emphasise the revolutionary message.
