Plate, bone china, foot ring, double ogee profile, elaborately shaped rim, relief-moulded scrolls on rim and three trailing foliate motifs rising from the well towards the rim; the mouilded details picked out in gold, on the flange an enamelled crest of a peacock atop the stern of a ship, above this the motto 'ANIMI SPES ANCHORA' in gold on a pink ribbon.
