Red Winfield 'Cash Book'. Used by Reg Mickisch and George Walton in running their guesthouse businesses. Dated 1974-78 and 1992-93. At back is a newspaper clipping advertising the sale of Penhempen, Dolfor, near Newtown, that they purchased in 1976.
Reg Mickisch and George Walton met in 1949 and were together for over 60 years, passing away within a few weeks of each other in 2011. Their story features in Mike Parker’s 2019 book On the Red Hill.
