Bowl of soft-paste porcelain with greenish translucency; round, standing on a straight-sided ground foot rim, with curved sides moulded with three rows of overlapping lotus leaves; rim in the shape of petal edges and lined in chocolate brown; inside and outside painted with flower sprays and sprigs, winged insects and a caterpillar; three stilt marks under the base. Badly broken and formerly repaired with rivets (now removed).
