Milk jug
Milk jug, hard-paste porcelain, rounded foot-rim, bulbous body, rounded lip-rim, beak spout with foliate moulding to the underside, double intertwined handle with spreading leaves at the terminals; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the exterior body a riverside landscape with buildings and figures, a gilt line around the exterior lip-rim of the jug, the spout and handle picked out in gilt.
