Spice container
Spice rack, tin-plate, open-fronted form with flat back with shaped top, and two sides with two shelves betweern, a pierced hole for suspension to the top of the rack and a small wire hook to one of the sides, on each shelf sit three cylindrical boxes with covers; the rear of the rack covered with a black japan, the rest of the rack and the exteriors of the boxes covered with a crimson japan, the front of each box inscribed in silver, to which the varnish has given a golden tinge, with the name of a spice: "CLOVES, GINGER, ALLSPICE, NUTMEG, MACE, CINNAMON".
