A Welsh Folk Museum Anser Book, 1972, received from Mrs M. Elinor Jones, Ciliau Aeron, containing notes on Mari Berllan Piter, who had knowledge of Witchcraft. Answer Books were sent out by the Welsh Folk Museum to individuals across Wales as a way of collecting and documenting information on aspects of folk culture in their areas, including agriculture, crafts, food, customs and dialects. The responses were hand-written in the books. The Answer Books had a similar purpose to the earlier questionnaires sent out in 1937.
