Inkstand, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain with a slightly green translucency; cockle shaped with a flat unglazed base, and sunken flat top and inkwell; periwinkle pen holder, and a section of a coral as a domed cover with cowrie finial; painted with alternating pink and yellow roses around rim of inkwell; cockle and coral ribs high-lighted in gilt, gilt finial and pen holder.
