Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Coffee cup, soft-paste porcelain, with a creamy, yellow tinged translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim, indented above, curved sides flaring at lip; c-scroll handle closed above the lip; interior and exterior painted with a wide border of scattered pink roses on a gilt pebbled ground, and a rosebud in the centre; gilt edged handle, gilt band to the foot rim, and gilt lip.
