Certificate of service, Mr D.M. Williams 1946

Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons Ltd, Cardiff, Certificate of Service to D.M. Williams, 22 September 1946. Red and blue lined paper printed in black. Details filled in in black type.

ss. SAMWINGED (7125gt) : Built 1944 by Bethlehem-Fairfield Shipyards Inc., Baltimore (engine by Worthington Pump & Machinery Corp., Harrison, New Jersey), managed for MoWT by Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons, Cardiff. 1948 – Returned to the US Maritime Commission and laid up at Mobile, Alabama as part of the reserve fleet. She was broken up at Panama City in 1960.

(7612gt) : Built 1945 by California Shipbuilding Corp., Los Angeles, engine by Joshua Hendy Iron Works, for the US War Shipping Administration, Portland, Oregon (managed by McCormick Steamship Co.). Laid up at Beaumont from 1949 and later transferred to James River,Virginia. She was broken up at Recife, Brazil in 1986.
