Caption from exhibition "Dance music of a different kind was provided by this local group in the 1960's. Kathryn Morgan's father is playing the bass guitar on the far right.. Rhian Jones interviewed her mother 'On weekend I used to go dancing at the Aberaman Welfare. At the Welfare there was modern dancing and 'jiving'. Unlike the discos you have today, there used to be live bands playing. It was a popular place for teenagers in the late 50's and early 60's.'"
