Cup and saucer
Cup, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, cylindrical sides tapering inwards towards the base, scrolled loop handle with foliate-moulding to the shoulder; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the front of the exterior body of the cup a rustic landscape with an ox and a horse, ridden by a female figure, drinking at a fountain, to the rest of the exterior sides of the cup are two miniature floral sprigs in gilt, a gilt edge to the lip-rim, the handle picked out in gilt. The foot-rim chipped. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a very short cylindrical foot-rim, curving sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a rustic landscape with a seated female figure holding a baby and two sheep, around the sides of the well the occasional miniature floral or foliate sprig in gilt, a gilt edge to the rim.
