Iron Age / Roman stone spindle whorl
Irregularly shaped pebble, flattened along one edge and broken at one end with an hourglass perforation. Several deeply incised grooves radiate form the perforation and there are faint traces of corresponding fine grooves around the circumferance of the stone.
