Teapot and cover
Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, ovoid body, curving spout, ear-shaped handle, domed cover with fruit finial; painted in polychrome enamels with around the exterior of the teapot and the top of the cover scattered sprays of naturalistic flowers, a gilt dentil border and blue line with flashes of gilt around the rims of the teapot and cover, a further blue line with flashes of gilt around the foot-rim of the teapot, the handle picked out in gilt, the finial completely gilt.
