Two handled cup of hard-fired coarse red earthenware, standing on a spreading base with rounded foot rim, elongated cylindrical body with pronounced throwing rings to lower part, tapering slightly then flaring and ending in rounded lip rim; twin loop handles, the upper terminals spaced apart on the upper body, the lower terminals almost conjoined above the foot, giving a heart shaped effect; covered on the interior and exterior with a lustrous dark brown glaze; restoration to neck and mouth over painted in dark brown.
