Teapot and cover, soft-paste porcelain, barrel shaped body, flat cover with applied and moulded flower bud and stem and leaves finial, ear shaped handle, projecting spout narrowing at the tip with a slightly flared rim; fluted sides, painted in underglaze blue with the gilliflower and narcissus pattern.
