'A Public Pie Ticket' [1868]
*The 'Public Pie' would seem to be what we known in Welsh as a pastai, which was originally an old marriage custom widely practised in North Glamorgan during the 19th Century. There are also references to the custom being practised in parts of Gwent and the Swansea Valley during the last century.
