Spill vase
Spill-vase, bone china with a white translucency; standing on three ball and claw feet, a straight sided foot rim curving into a cylindrical shape flaring prominently towards the lip, with a ridge above the foot and below the lip, rounded lip with a scalloped gallery; painted with a frieze of wild flowers including forget-me-nots, wild strawberries, dog roses, and pink convolvuli, bordered by gilt bands; wide gilt band to the foot rim, and decorative hatched gilt border below the lip, gilt band to interior and exterior of lip.
